Interesting in doing therapy with me? Here's how that works as of February of 2026
At this time I cannot accept new clients. My waiting list is closed.
I can take clients that reside in the State of New York in the United States. I cannot see clients from other states or countries based on current licensing/practice laws.
My area of practice specialization is ... wait for it ... anxiety and anxiety disorders.
My theoretical orientation and approach to anxiety recovery is based on empirically supported third wave cognitive behavioral treatments including heavy use of the core principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Metacognitive Therapy (MCT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and other third wave acceptance and mindfulness-based modalities.
My caseload includes clients with OCD, GAD, agoraphobia, panic disorder, health anxiety, and emetophobia. These are the usual suspects for therapists like me.
I can work with any therapy client anywhere in New York State. If you're on Long Island we can work in person, otherwise we can work virtually. I'm happy to work with clients age 13 and up.
Can we work on other issues beyond anxiety? Of course! You are a whole person with a whole story and a lifetime of experiences. Anxiety disorders do not live in a vacuum. They are not seperate from you, so it is expected that other issues may pop up that require attention along the way. That's not a problem. That's just how this works and that's OK.
UPDATED February 2026:
I am presently licensed to work under supervision. In New York a therapist has to complete 3000 hours of supervised work before practicing independently. My clinical supervisor is awesome, by the way, but that's another story.
My schedule is currently full so I cannot accept new clients. My waiting list is likely a year long at this point so that is now closed. Anxiety therapy is often shorter duration than other therapies, however I cannot guarantee that my schedule will open up at any particular time.
If you would like to work with me pop your info into the form below. When my waiting list or client list opens up again, I will reach out to let you know.
If you're so inclined you can also contact me via my listing on Psychology Today. Either contact method works for me.
Workshops and courses I create and social media content I create are not substitutes for therapy. If you need immediate help please reach out for qualified help now. Do not wait for me to be available.
Enter your name and email address below. I will respond with more information at some point in the future when I can accept new clients. If you need immediate help please do not wait for me.
NOTE:
This does not guarantee that we will get to work together at any specific time in the future so please consider more immediate options if you feel you need immediate professional help. As always, in a crisis situation please reach out for immediate in-person help.
