"NOTHING I DO IS WORKING! I CAN'T STOP MY PANIC ATTACKS!"
This is a thing I hear every day. When you're experiencing repeated panic attacks and can't find a way to stop them, you can wind up feeling lost, confused, terrified, and desperate.
Panic Attacks Explained is a workshop that explains the ins-and-outs of panic attacks. You'll learn:
- What happens during a panic attack. Why it's so scary and feels so dangerous.
- Why panic attacks happen.
- Why panic attacks happen repeatedly.
- The difference between panic attacks and panic disorder.
- Why you can't figure out why they're happening.
- Why "nothing works" to stop them.
- Why you're safe during even the most intense panic attack.
- Why trying to stop them or avoid them is making things worse for you.
- Why treating panic attacks like a body problem has been a dead end for you.
- What DOES work to overcome panic attacks and panic disorder.
- What changes you will want to consider that can point you in the right direction so you can overcome recurring panic attacks or panic disorder.
Panic Attacks Explained is based on a research-supported cognitive behavioral approach to panic attacks and anxiety disorders. The workshop was created by Drew Linsalata, graduate student in clinical mental health counseling, therapist-in-training, creator/host of The Anxious Truth podcast, and author of three bestselling books on anxiety and anxiety recovery.
This workshop is not therapy nor a substitute for therapy. This is psychoeducational content designed to inform, not to diagnose or treat. Attending the workshop does not create or imply a therapist-client relationship between us. As always, you must advocate for yourself at all times and when in doubt consult qualified in-person medical or mental health professionals.
